Lillian really wasn't so much in the mood to deal with anyone other than herself--in the last couple of hours she had gone from just kind of checking herself out in shiny surfaces, to actually ignoring people. She wanted them to treat themselves, and had abandoned her duty uniform for her underwear, shutting herself in her office and reading novels no her personal PADD. Then she'd seen Gan with his mouth pressed to the glass of her office window and she just didn't seem to acknowledge him--she knew he was there, it just had nothing to do with her and therefore she was all for ignoring him, as this was about her.

Everything was about her.

Perhaps later on she would feel worse about this, as there was a little bit of guilt hanging out in her gut, but right now she wanted more than anything to just spend time pampering herself. Reading, playing her flute, proving she was 'Top Dog'--anything to make herself feel better and alive and good. She'd thought about leaving Sickbay a time or two, but this was Sickbay and she kind of loved it and it was her space to do with what she pleased and to order around who she wanted to order around. She wasn't sure what Gan wanted, but if he wanted to talk to her so bad, he'd have to do it without any help from her: she didn't want to lift a finger.

He just watched Lillian for a moment. He couldn't deny that she looked good as she was. But it didn't seem important right now. She seemed to be enjoying herself and he wanted to disturb that somehow. He pondered for a moment, he had to somehow get her out of her office so they could run off and pull jokes on everyone else. He continued to think for a moment. He could override her codes, but that didn't seem to be as much fun in his head. He wracked his brain for the answer he was looking for. Then he smiled softly to himself. "Computer. Raise the temperature in Miss Crae's office by five degrees please." He chuckled softly. He'd light a fire under her and drive her out. This certainly could be fun.

He waited for a moment or two, walking around Sickbay. He was sure she would notice in a short amount of time. For now he would talk to some of the people in Sickbay. These people were sick or injured. He would play jokes on people, but his morality was still mostly intact so he could still draw the line at disturbing the people in here. He would just see how they were doing. See if they agreed that Lillian was acting odd by stripping down and sitting in her office in her underwear. He wondered if it was fun and thought about taking off his jacket. He started to unbutton his duty jacket, grinning widely. Perhaps even this would make his day all the more comical. He shrugged it off and tied it around his waist, not wanting to lose it. "Come ooonnnn Lillian! We could replace the marine's rations with ketchup! Wouldn't that be funny?"

The computer had led Marlo into sickbay, who wasn't at all prepared for what she saw--but it was no matter. She'd come here to accomplish a task, and didn't want to quit until she finished...at least that part of her remained intact; her dedication. It felt as though the rational part of her brain had shrunk, and though she could almost feel it screaming at her that this was a bad idea, her resolve never wavered. She leaned up against the sickbay door, one hand on her hip, and toussled her hair before she spoke, her tone low and seductive.

"Is it hot in here or is it just you?"

He pondered Marlo's question as she stepped into Sickbay. She certainly looked like she might be hot, so the only logical conclusion was that instead of raising just Lillian's office's temperature, he had raised it in Sickbay itself as well. He shrugged his shoulders, "Must just be hot in here. I'm sorry about that, it was my fault." He pondered for a few moments, all his other ploys had worked out so far. He looked to her momentarily, "Perhaps you would like to help me to get Lillian out to have some fun as well? We could go bother people on the promenade. Turn all the jam into mustard or something. Perhaps you can help me? I'm not very creative today. Though that cavalry charge was rather hilarious. What do you want to do?"

The things that were running through his mind didn't seem like very good ideas. He could reprogram all the replicators to only serve fruit salad..but that certainly wouldn't all that much of a good trick. He needed something, something huge. Well not too big, he didn't want the station to blow up or anything like that. But he wanted something really funny, maybe she would have a good idea. He could only hope that she was a better joker than he was, he certainly had no talent to show for mischief making so far.

Lillian had no intention of leaving her office, especially not to pull pranks as that didn't seem fun or about her at all, but the word 'marines' made her perk up. Marlo laughed at Liilian's appearance. Was all the because Gan had raised the temperature by a few degrees? It didn't seem like Lillian to completely undress at the slightest uncomfortable temperature, but even Marlo wasn't feeling at all like herself, that day. She straightened and walked into Sickbay, tossing her duty jacket at Lillian to put it on, even though she had half a mind to go put on the most revealing thing she'd ever worn, and shrugged. If Lillian had any sense left--sense Marlo was clearly lacking as she stood with arms-length of Gan--she'd check the barracks on Deck 13.

"Probably in the Barracks."

If Lillian had any sense left--sense Marlo was clearly lacking as she stood with arms-length of Gan--she'd check the barracks on Deck 13.

"Probably in the Barracks."

He scoffed, "Fine, don't aid in my Machiavellian schemes of the most epic proportions! I have a perfectly lovely assistant already I suppose." He sighed softly and turned back to Marlo, "Well there goes our triumvirate of terribleness. I hardly think that she was ever truly committed. Always obsessed with her Taylor and his marines. Maybe I could jettison him into space...well that probably wouldn't be that good of an idea. She'd come after me and be all mad. Definitely out." He shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know about all this. I'm not as good at it as I imagined I would be. Too much time behind a desk wearing a uniform I guess." Laughing he sat down on one of the biobeds.

"These days I can't seem to get out anymore. My office is a trap and I walked into it more blind than I could have possibly imagined. You know how that is Marlo?" He smiled sadly and reminisced about days gone by when he had less to worry about. "Perhaps I'll just...hmmm. Computer, introduce a one percent infusion of helium into the atmosphere in engineering. Maybe that'll cheer people up." He grinned again, ready to play some more. He took Marlo by the hand, knowing he wouldn't have Lillian's attention as a suitable member of his team. "Lets go make people laugh."

Besides, she was starting to rethink even being in underwear when Gan made her office hotter, opening up her door just in time to hear Marlo and Gan and giggle. It was obvious why Marlo was here and if she was feeling anything like how Lilliian was feeling, she wanted someone other than herself to tell her that she looked amazing. in fact, the only thing that mattered to Lillian right now other than herself, was Taylor telling her good things about herself.

"She means she's attracted to you," Lillian said with a shrug, not really caring. "Where will the marines be?"

"Lets go make people laugh."

Marlo stood still, staring down at their hands...she didn't want to cause trouble...well she did, but not that kind of trouble. And helium? seriously? He could do better than that...maybe he really did need someone to help him--but not her. Marlo had never been a prankster, and had no idea what to do. She shook her head slowly, still looking down. Was there a way to get what some part of her addled brain wanted without having to jump through flaming hoops? Be bold. Be smart. Be...sexy.

She looked up, pulled her hand out of Gan's reaching up and grabbing the collar of his turtle neck instead. "No."

And she kissed him.

He held the kiss for a moment more out of surprise than anything else. This certainly wasn't what he had in mind but he supposed it was nice while it lasted. It was an enjoyable experience, but he broke the kiss and stepped away for a moment. She was a beautiful woman and he knew somewhere inside that she was desirable, but also that this was a wrong thing to do. "Well if that's the case, miss. Perhaps we shall play a game." He pondered for a moment wondering how he could make this interesting for her. "You play this game with me, and we can certainly play a game of..your choosing."

He grinned at her, at least he would get the thing he wanted out of this. She would be focused on helping him out with one last trick before they probably retired. Which certainly could also be fun. He didn't know exactly what she wanted. But he certainly had an idea given to him by her forward actions. He smiled softly, "Sound like a deal?"

He could do better than that...maybe he really did need someone to help him--but not her. Marlo had never been a prankster, and had no idea what to do. She shook her head slowly, still looking down. Was there a way to get what some part of her addled brain wanted without having to jump through flaming hoops? Be bold. Be smart. Be...sexy.

Lillian wasn't quite sure what to do, but she smirked a little bit when she saw the two of them enjoying each other and wanted to see if she couldn't do that herself. After all, she was more interested in what she was going to get out of everything than she was in Marlo's and Gan's little game that was being played right now. Deep down it made her happy, but that deep down didn't matter right now and so instead, she wandered over to a console in her underwear and stretched out her lean, muscular frame as she tried to pinpoint Taylor's location. Right now she just wanted to focus on Taylor and on what Taylor may or may not think of her.

It was for all intensive purposes about her.

She wanted to be told all about herself and about what feelings she could invoke so she could feel more powerful than she did right then because sitting in her office had felt a lot more like hiding than anything else. Lillian was better than that and she knew it, so it was time to see just what she was truly capable of so that she could feel even better about herself than she did right then. Since she didn't think that Gan and Marlo would notice, Lillian decided to leave Sickbay and turned down a corridor...she could always check on them later.
